in Sarntal

The Sarntal offers numerous leisure opportunities for children and adults. Countless walking and hiking trails lead from the house through meadows and forests up to impressive mountain peaks! The summer also offers mountain bike tours, climbing paths, riding fun and pass tours for motorcycle enthusiasts worth exploring. The manager of the house is an enthusiastic biker himself and will tell you great tours!
When it gets hot, cool off in the swimming pool or simply enjoy the sun on the in-house lawn. For our little guests there is plenty of space to play on the playground in front of the house, with swings, slides, etc.

In winter it's off to the nearby Reinswald ski area . There you will find perfectly groomed pistes for skiers and snowboarders, as well as a 4.5 km toboggan run and lots of apresski fun in the huts! Cross-country fans will feel in their element on the slopes in Pens!
After a hard day's skiing, relax in our
sauna or in the whirlpool and if you're not fit enough, let off steam in our fitness room**!

Ski-area

in nearby "Reinswald"

In winter you can go to the nearby Reinswald ski area. There you will find perfectly groomed slopes for skiers and snowboarders, tobogganists and tourers. Hikers will also find their place here. Our sun-drenched ski area with various rest stops is spacious and rarely overcrowded. With the ski bus and the regular buses (free with the Bozen-Card) you can easily get from the village center to the ski area without a car. Those who prefer to drive themselves will find a large parking lot and a parking garage at the valley station of the cable car in Reinswald. Customers with a cable car ticket are BONUS parkers and only pay the bonus rate. More information Reinswald

Cross country skiing

If you prefer to enjoy the sun all day long while cross-country skiing, you can come to the right place in our PENSERTAL by car or by public bus (free with the Bozen-Card). Extensive trails offer around 20 km of cross-country skiing fun. Don't have any equipment? In the Penserhof restaurant you can borrow everything you need! More information: Cross-country skiing

Hiking

Hiking trails to impressive mountain peaks

Countless walking and hiking trails lead through meadows and forests up to impressive mountain peaks right from the house! You will also find some via ferratas here in the valley. All paths are well marked and clearly visible on the hiking maps (also available here in the hotel). Guided hikes are also offered by the tourism association. To get to the hiking trails that do not start here at the house, you can use public transport free of charge with the Bozen Card, which you can get from us free of charge. Furthermore, the hiking bus takes you to the most popular hiking routes every year from June to October, so that you can also experience great circular hikes. You will also find places to stop for refreshments for every taste on almost every hiking route. If you prefer to bring your own provisions, please contact us, we will be happy to prepare rolls for you to take away.

Mountainbiking

In spring, summer and autumn, the valley offers mountain bike tours worth exploring for beginners, advanced and professionals. Various tours are specifically listed and described on cycle tour maps. Rainer, the master of the house, is happy to advise you. Electric mountain bikes and mountain bikes are available for hire at the hotel. Horse riding

Horse people will also find happiness with us. Experienced riders are welcome to bring their own horse. We have paddocks and a few boxes. Antonia, a certified cross-country guide and trainer, will be happy to help you with words and deeds and possibly also accompany you on unforgettable mountain tours with one of her 3 horses.
